During this pandemic of the Coronavirus time,
good deeds are been shared.
On March 21, 2020, Sister Aline Blais p.m. from Prince Albert celebrated her 89th birthday at the Care Home of Mont St. Joseph.
During this time of the pandemic crisis there was a lock down for all the patients in the building.
Since the Sisters could not be present and socialize with S. Aline on her birthday, one of the staff members, Jennifer Rust took the time to bring S. Aline a birthday cake and sing her, “ Happy Birthday “.
We want to thank Jennifer for the kind and compassionate gesture that brought hope and joy to S.Aline. We also thank God for his comforting presence during this crucial time.
“She opened her hand to the poor and reached out her hand to the needy.”
We thank God for the example of compassion the workers give in caring for the sick in senior homes.
In the Gospel of John it is written:” let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:17
God challenges us not only to speak about loving the poor but
to love with action and in truth!
