The month of November is recognized as the month of the dead.
Let us commemorate all the faithful departed during this month by remembering, praying and giving thanks for them, but let us especially keep in our hearts those who are closest to us, our beloved Sisters (of the Presentation of Mary) who have passed away and gone into eternity since 1796.
Let us offer our prayers for their holy souls, may they experience the fullness of joy in Heaven, and may their souls rest in peace.
During this time, we can turn to Mary, our Mother of God and pray, “Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.”
We can also pray:
Psalm 129
A prayer of a sinner, trusting in the mercies of God.
Out of the depths, I cry to you, O Lord, Lord hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive to my voice in supplication.
If you, O Lord, mark iniquities, Lord, who can stand?
But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.
I trust in the Lord, my soul trusts in his word.
My souls waits for the Lord more than sentinels wait for the dawn.
More than sentinels wait for the dawn, let Israel wait for the Lord.
For with the Lord is kindness and with him is plenteous redemption,
And he will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.
