Presentation of Mary in the Temple

Happy feast day to all.

November 21^st

May you move towards Mary in joy and hope.

This is the feast day of the Blessed Virgin Mary who climbed the stairs of the Temple at three years old and was presented by her parents to the High Priest Simeon with open hands.  She stayed in the Temple for at least 12 yrs. committing herself to the service of God.

Let us follow Mary’s example in a spirit of adoration and offering, trusting and dedicating our life to God.

 As we spend some time today in prayer, let us reflect on the life of Mary, our Mother. May we ask her to show us how to give of our self for God and for the service of others.  Ask God to draw us closer to her, and may she help us in our journey of faith towards God.
