“Entering the Mystery: Risking Incarnation… An Advent Journey”
On Saturday, Dec. 02, Sr. Chantelle Bonk facilitated an Advent retreat for our Associates and local community. We were reminded that we are vessels for God. Our hearts and minds were touched by Jan L. Richardson’s words in “Night Visions’: “You hollow us out God, so that we may carry you, and endlessly fill us to be emptied again…”
The time was used for presentations, prayerful reflection and sharing in small groups. One of our prayers was “Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary; pure and holy, tried and true. With thanksgiving I’ll be a sanctuary for you.”
Like Mary and Elizabeth let us linger in our ‘holy place’ to enter and embrace 2023 Advent!
