WE GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR OUR JUBILARIANS.

The welcome to the celebration of our Jubilarians began with a beautiful Eucharistic liturgy; the musicians provided some inspiring hymns and music. The readings from Colossians, the Wedding of Cana and Father Michael Averyt’s homily all touched our hearts.

A song of thanksgiving prepared us for the wonderful banquet.

At 2:00 pm the Sisters gathered again to celebrate the lives of the Jubilarians:

60th - Sisters Mary Woodward, Michelle Blanchette and Janice Fournier

65th - Sisters Aline Cyr, Elizabeth Decorby and Mariette Bilodeau

70th - Sr. Raymonde Ouellette

A poster of a large Celtic Knot held our attention. We find it to be a beautiful symbol of our journey to ever-deepening of our lives. We can see the ups and downs, the ‘overs and unders ‘all working together. We find that this knot is also a great symbol of community.

Father Michael’s words stay with us, and with him we say: “Give thanks for the past, look forward to the future and do this in a spirit of love!” Dear sisters: for answering God’s call and for being open to God’s love in all circumstances we give thanks and we celebrate with you the 445 years of vows, love and service. Congratulations!

With thanksgiving in our hearts, thoughts to ponder, stories that brought laughter, we now leave with the joy in togetherness! May God bless you.

WE ARE ALL CALLED BY GOD, CALLED BY NAME
TO SERVE WITH FAITH ALIVE AND STRONG
WE WILL SERVE IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!
