During this Holy week, let us continue to walk and follow Christ as we journey towards the cross.
Holy Thursday is the day that Jesus had his last supper with his disciples. He shared the bread and wine. The Bread of life is nourishment for our journey. He washed the feet of his disciples before the meal; this is Jesus showing his hospitality of the Passover. We too can be servants of one another. This is how Jesus loved and served.

“This is the Body that will be given up for you; this is the Chalice of the new covenant in my Blood, says the Lord, do this whenever you receive it, in memory of me”. I Cor. 24-25
Good Friday is the day that we commemorate the passion, cross and death of Jesus. On this day Jesus was crucified on a cross and died for the sins of humanity. So we solemnly venerate the cross. The crucifix is a sign of Jesus’ total vulnerability. He loved us all. Let us love one another like he did. Christ invites us to bear one another’s burdens.
We adore you O Christ, and we praise you because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world.

Holy Saturday, we wait at the tomb of Jesus. On this day we celebrate the Easter Vigil, in procession with the light of Christ as we celebrate the risen Lord’s presence.

Easter Sunday is what we’ve all been waiting for! During these forty days of lent, we prepared ourselves by praying and giving alms in preparation for this day, ‘the resurrection of Christ.’
Let us sing Alleluia to glorify God and celebrate the Risen Life of Jesus
