We are all called to be Saints, let us be faithful to Jesus ‘everyday call, who wants us to follow in his footsteps. It is good to have a relationship with Jesus. This keeps us focused on what God wants us to do in our daily lives. We can seek him, trust him and surrender to him. May you have a deep intimacy with the Lord Jesus.
It is good to honor the Saints, who were given special gifts and pray that they may assist us in our daily lives. They lived virtuous and heroic lives. At this moment I think of our foundress Saint Marie Rivier who was canonized on May 15, 2022. She had a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She prayed the rosary and obtained all she needed from Mary during her life. May she be our model of faith and let us ask her for our everyday needs.
Grant us, through her intercession
the grace that we ask of you….Amen

During this month of November, let us pray to the fourteen new Saints that were canonized on October 20th in Rome by Pope Francis. He said “these new Saints lived Jesus ‘way of service, they made themselves servants of their brothers and sisters.”. Let us also pray to our new Canadian Saint, Sister Leonie Paradis, who exemplified heroic virtues of holiness during her life.

Let us not forget on November 2nd ‘All Souls Day’, the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. Let’s have a special prayer for our own deceased loved ones, and for all the departed faithful throughout the world.
“May the Lord Jesus grant them eternal rest and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Let us also remember on this Armistice Day, which is on Monday November 11, all our heroes who served in the Nation’s defense and honor them for their sacrifices and courage!

WE REMEMBER THEM!
In Flanders fields, the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place, and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below
We are the dead, short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields In Flanders fields…
