During this Jubilee Year, under the inspiration of Mother Rivier’s ‘get together’ spirit, the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary assembled for a weekend-long meeting. It was animated by Sr. Margo Ritchie SSJ who is very resourceful and an experienced facilitator.
With fire in their hearts, the Sisters began their journey by inviting the Holy Spirit to guide them as they listened and shared ideas with each other; the joys and challenges they face today, the dreams and hopes for the future; focusing and reflecting on how to be attentive to the signs of the times today.
They were invited to open new doors and explore new possibilities by letting the Sprit inspire creative ways to respond. Getting together is a good way to keep our family ties strong and to move forward on new pathways as pilgrims of hope.
The Sisters ended their weekend by celebrating the Eucharistic liturgy of Palm Sunday with Fr. Michael Averyt. It was followed with a well-prepared festive meal, enjoyed in companionship.
