Stepping Stones is a six-session small group discernment process.
The process involves three components:
1. Monthly group meetings by zoom where we will explore the following topics:
Before Christmas, we will be looking at a more general discernment, looking at:
- What is my foundational baptismal call?
- What does it mean to be called to holiness?
- What are the different vocations in which I can live this call to holiness (marriage, single life, religious life)? Which one attracts me?
After Christmas, we will focus more specifically on learning more about the call to Religious Life:
- “What is Religious Life about?” (Vows, Community Life, Charism, …)
- “Am I possibly being called to Religious Life?”
- “What would be the next steps that God is calling me to take?”
2. Reflection Questions: for you to pray with during the month. These will help you go deeper and personalize the session.
3. Once you have prayed and journaled on the questions, you are invited to share them in an Encounter with a spiritual director or a Sister. If you already have a spiritual director, you can schedule a visit with him or her to share your reflections. The Sisters are also willing to meet with you as well, to listen and accompany you on your discernment journey.
Our hope is that this process will increase your awareness of the different vocations and lead you through different steps to hopefully receive clarity and direction in your walk with the Lord.
